Default Show your Long Range Tactical Rifle

This post kind of goes in conjuntion with my previous post of this is what I have in mind. I'm just looking for ideas and looking for some different styles. If you have a picture post it, because I would greatly appreciate the input.. Also please describe what it is. How it shoots. What kind of glass you have and etc etc. Basically all the information you can spare. This project of mine is probably going to take 3yrs or so to scrape up enough funds for something nice so I want to buy something I want and that is nice and not regret it.. So all help will be appreciated..

This one will reach out about as far as you could want. It's my Weatherby Accumark in .338-378 Weatherby Magnum. I mounted a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20X 40MM in Leupold mounts. It's proven to be a very accurate combination. I load the Sierra 300 Gr. Matchking with a healthy dose of WC-872 Ball Powder. I can get an honest 3,000 FPS with this combination without any excess pressure. The .338-378 Weatherby is an excellent long range cartridge. The Weatherby Accubrake makes the recoil about the same as my unbraked Remington 700 in .300 Winchester Mag. Bill T.

I don't know how to do pictures yet, but I have an older SAKO model 75 with beautiful wood in 6.5 X 55 topped with a Burris 8X32X44 on Leupold mounts that shoots very accurate handloads as far as I practically can.

    It is a Barrett M-82.

    It shoots far.

It has a swarovski 10x fixed scope on it.

    Chicks dig it.

I just finished building this SPR. WOA 18" stainless match barrel, KAC FF RAS, Leupold Mark 4 M3, LaRue SPR scope mount, and a Gemtech HALO suppressor. I've only test fired it and gotten it on paper at 25. Hopefully in the next week or two I can take it out, zero it, and start shooting groups. Still not finished yet. Needs back up iron sights, shorter bipod, and its going on a different lower with an LMT sopmod stock.

Remington 700P in .308 with Leupold Mk 4 M1 and Mk 4 base and rings. I love this rifle. Shoots sub MOA with Federal Match 168gr.

    Two-year-old thread?

Better to have started a new one.
