    Default Smith&Wesson Model 66 and Model 65?

whats the difference between these two?

I've always thought Model 65, which came about at the request of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, was stainless steel version of vernerable Model 13 Military & Police Magnum.

And I thought Model 66 is the same gun, but chambered in .38special, but I guess Model 64 is same bull barreled gun thats chambered in .38special, and Model 66 is also chambered in .357magnum..

Model 65 is the 357mag version that looks like a model 64, which is 38spl. It has fixed sights, bull or heavy barrel, exposed ejector rod. The model 66 is also 357mag, but has adj sights and shroud over ejector rod. Both are stainless.

Both chambered for .357 MAG. The 13 has fixed sights. The 19 has adjustable sights.
