Wachovia Spectrum security?

Planning on taking Septa to the Wachovia Spectrum for a Villanova basketball game, and as always I would like to carry. Has anyone been to the Spectrum recently that can tell me what security is like? I have carried into Phillies games by moving my holster to the "12 o'clock" position. Not the most comfortable, but it was temporary (just rearranged to my normal 3 o'clock in the bathroom) and most important it was effective getting past security. Does anyone know if there are pat downs or wands at the Spectrum? Any insight at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

They once told me I couldn't bring my book-bag in. So, I took the entire contents of my book-bag, which were wrapped in a blanket, and left my empty book-bag at the front desk.

And no, they never; for one second, tried to see what was actually wrapped in the blanket.

This was a while ago (1+ years), so it may have changed.

For Flyers Games... I have had hte pleasure of being "Wanded" by the security guard...

Getting a visual of a scene from "Spinal Tap" about going through security.... Just carry a cucumber and Ill bet that will diffuse any awkward situations that may arise.
