Re: share your favorite recipe..
A nice easy one for chicken.
Take boneless, skinless chicken, put in pan for oven.
Take Miracle Whip, how much depends on how much chicken you do, enough to cover.
Mix shaker Parmesan cheese into the Miracle Whip, how much depends on how much you like cheese.
Spread liberally on the top of the chicken.
Do not cover.
Put in oven 375 deg approx 30-35 min until chicken is done and cheese is brown (make a cut in the chicken to check interior color, no pink)
If you put potatoes in oven to bake before you start the chicken they should be done with the chicken, ave potato 1 hr.
Enjoy!

Penne ala Vodka
Chop up 1 package of bacon into bite-sized pieces. Sautee until browned. Drain grease, saving a few tablespoons in the pan. Add a few handfuls of frozen peas (2 cups). Splash in some vodka, letting it cook off. Add 1-2 pints of heavy cream, a bit at a time. Stir occasionally. Do this at medium heat. Watch the pan carefully, as if it gets too hot it will quickly boil over.
Once the cream thickens a bit, pour off some excess juice from 1 large can of crushed tomatoes, then add them. You may also get whole stewed tomatoes and individually crush them in by hand (fun, but messy). If you choose whole tomatoes, do not add the juice.
Cook this for another 10 minutes or so, until it develops a nice pink color, stirring occasionally. You may add fresh or dried parsley, salt, and pepper to taste.
Serve this over Penne or the pasta of your choosing. Enjoy!

Dude! No offense meant, but that sounds sort of gross! You can make some much tastier stuff with the same effort. Try mixing 6 tablespoons of dijon, whole grain, or brown mustard with a tablespoon of white vinegar and a teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Then mix equal parts parmesan cheese and bread crumbs in a bowl. Brush the mustard mixture over each breast, then dredge in the bread crumbs. You can also let them marinate in the mustard for a while to add flavor before you drag in the bread crumbs. Bake at 325 for 10-15 minutes, depending on thickness. I usually cut normal sized breasts in half (to make thinner ones). They cook very quickly and are nice and tender! Let me know what you think.

Not sure if you like fish but this is a great one for at home, ever better freshly caught over a campfire:
"Trout Hemingway"
Get a couple trout, take the head off and butterfly.
Fry up some bacon, take the bacon out but leave the grease.
Fry up some spinach and garlic in the bacon grease, then take that out.
Roll the trout in some cornmeal and pan fry the flesh (gut) side.
Fill the cavity with the spinach and bacon then fry both sides.
Finally, try not to explode when you find out how f'ing good this tastes."Things have taken a turn for the surreal." - Capt. John Miller
