Winchester model 490
Request any photos of your Winchester model 490...i have found one to purchased but the walnut stock is so lustrous and dark that I suspect that it was redone...most photos i have found show a med to light brown satin finish.
Thanks.

Re: Winchester model 490
Hi, I have just purchased a 490 but have not taken delivery yet. Here are the pictures that the shop sent of it. Hope it helps!!!
How does your shoot, I am curious how the trigger feels?

Re: Winchester model 490
stephen,
thanks for the post..since i posted, i purchased another 490 that has a medium brown lighter look than what you posted. However, your pics are identical to a 490 i saw in the 14XXX range...i found a gun in the 11XXX range, so perhaps they stained them differently over the production run.
i have only fired once, to prove it worked...trigger felt solid with not overplay.
