    Default Re: $200 for a 1945 Mosin-Nagant M44?

My Son had been looking for one of these rifles. Was finding them in the $200.00 range until he stumbled upon one this past Saturday for $115.00 at Dunkelburgers in Stroudsburg, PA. Gun looks about average. He bought it and we had it at the range yesterday. With Iron sights we were keeping all shots on 8-1/2" X 11" pieces of paper although grouping wasn't too great.

Ammo is cheap enough, but I would rather spend a few cents more a round for stuff manufactured in the USA that won't rust out the barrel if he forgets to clean it immediately after firing it.

Anybody ever scope one of these rifles??
