    Funny, but true...lol
I love my AR's, but I respect my AK's for what they are......f@#king tanks.
And they do exactly what they were built for... and more.

One of my AR's is a Colt SP1, probably the closest thing to an original M-16 that you can get, and I can't believe how light it is.
The buttstock alone is hollow plastic, and if you were to hit something with it, it would surely break.

However, the buttstock's on my AK's are rock solid. I could probably hammer nails with it, or breach a locked door with no problem. .

I have a deep admiration for AK's.... Plus they are fun, and just plain badass.

    Back to the OP.
    Sounds like a nice kit...
Man, 700y is amazing.... For an AK.
I just shot steel plates at 200y, and I couldn't see for shit.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you used a milspec buffer and stock...that's a function of the gun. If you used commercial junk that doesnt pass drop tests etc...then it's your fault, not the rifle. For the record...the "anti AR" stuff started in this thread before the anti-ak. And it's no even anti-AR...it's anti-AR-people.

I'd like to see some target pics though, that's pretty impressive.

I know the AK's operate accurately once you get the right match of ammo in them. I've done 300 yards on a 8" gong with both the AR and the AK offhand/open sights in about 3-5 shots each.

From my experience it's the lack of quality ammo that's usually the issue.

hehe, keep an eye on your PM box... Taking the day off from hunting today

As to that rifle, yes, that's my "looker"... Although I personally prefer the well used (and abused) ones I actually shoot

I used to have "looker" guns...but I got rid of them about the same time I stopped going to strip clubs. I think of those things like I think of cars, drive 'em like you stole 'em.

Of course...that Izzy FAL is the nicest I've seen...though I'm not sure that's even yours. Wasn't that a customer's gun?

Sorry 'bout the thread drift folks.
