Current NFA Transfer Time

Can I get some feedback on current NFA transfer times members have been experiencing? I have heard that ATF is way behind on processing forms and I wanted to know what kind of wait is ahead of me. I sent my F4 on 11/15/08 and was told they do not have my paperwork in the system when I called today. Also, the MO has not been cashed. My understanding is that a transfer is not entered into their system until the MO/check is cashed. I was told to call back the week of 1/12/09.

My last four transfers ranged between 53 and 67 days.

I sent in 10 transfers on 10/16.

2 were approved on 12/5
1 was approved on 12/18
1 was approved on 12/22
4 were approved on 12/23

The other two are still pending.

Thanks for the details. Those date ranges are what I have experienced in the past with transfers to me. However, this most recent one is to a trust and I don't know if that will slow things down. Were any of these for a MG? I sent the paperwork to the Atlanta address listed on the F4. I'm not sure why some go to Chicago, some to Atlanta and some to West Virginia. I wonder if they all end up in West Virginia. I guess I'm just more impatient this time through after spending so much on the RR.
