.22 shotshells in bulk?
Anybody know where I Can find .22lr shotshells in bulk? The nice weather today reminds me spring is coming and I have to get my cricket hunting fix! I usually buy a few boxes of the cci's but they're so expensive. Maybe I could save buying online in bulk.

Re: .22 shotshells in bulk?
I have an old smooth bore savage stevens "22cal shotgun" I use for bug hunting on lazy summer sundays.
Throw your water mellon scraps out in the front yard and sit in the lounge chair with the 22 and a brick of 22lr shot shells and have some fun. The water mellon brings in the grass hoppers as well as bees and useless flies. The grass hoppers are the funnest! It's like triing to hit tiny bats!

Re: .22 shotshells in bulk?
I have eaten them, nothing to write home about. I don't plan on eating them again. I usually walk through the field kicking them up. I use the p22 usually. I'm on the lookout for a cheap .22 revolver before spring comes.
lol @ daveshepp, if you're ever out this way stop by, I do still know how to fry em but they're not very good.
The bumblebees are good fun too. I had a mouse eating my pasta in the pantry. One shot stop with the .22 shotshells from cci.

This is big stuff on the Airgun forums. A company actually makes a scope called "Bug Buster" and they will focus/zero down to 6 or 9 feet.
And people shoot bugs.
