Default man shoots another man at pa movie theater!.

(CNN) -- A man angry that a family was talking during a movie threw popcorn at the son and then shot the father in the arm, according to police in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

James Joseph Cialella, 29, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons violations, a police report said.

Cialella told the family sitting in front of him in the theater on Christmas Day to be quiet, police said.

An argument ensued while others at the Riverview Movie Theatre watched "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Cialella then approached the family from the left side of the aisle and shot the father, who was not identified, as he was standing between Cialella and his family, according to the police report.

The victim was taken to Jefferson Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left arm, police said.

Cialella was carrying a Kel-Tec .380-caliber handgun clipped inside his sweatpants, police said. He was arrested and taken into custody.

want to bet he didn't have a permit for that?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

I don't think it matters if he had a permit or not. This kind of goofy crap is always used against us by the antis

I often wonder if the Anti's actually put people up to shootings to "prove" their point.

Apparently, bail has been set according to the York Dispatch. Pretty damn quick bail for a crime of violence. The article did not mention anything about him holding LTCF.

I really hope this idiot gets about 10 years. Shooting in a situation like this is totally insane.

Rather this moron had a permit or not is irrelevent. The theater chains will put up signs banning firearms. Although it's every individuals' decision to obey or ignore such a ban, overall this hurts the RKBA in general.

You know, I often agree with Dodgefolks' thoughts on the anti-rights groups willingness to stage things like this...esecially when we now have the most anti-rights administration soon to take office in D.C. In this case, the assailant just returned to his seat, rather then flee the scene. The guy is either totally nuts...totally callous or knows the fix is in.
