I have a dilemma. I just picked up an LAR Grizzly Lower for real cheap, considering the times, but I just finished building my first M4gery, so now what to do with this lower? I bought 5 more L5 mags, too, so I'm GTG on mags. My fear is that if I dont complete the rifle now, after the ban, will the parts still be available? Will companies still produce Uppers and parts for a banned weapon system?

I have an M4 already, and my HK SL8 is the equivalent of any kind of AR Varmint rifle (20 bull bbl, free float, tack driver), so what else is there that isnt NFA? (I'm 19, remember)

My first thought was SBR 10 or 14, but... NFA fail, right? I can't register a lower as an SBR till 21, right? Maybe not? Maybe I should ask JayBell..

Any other ideas?

Ehhhh... the 9mm sticks look gay, in MY opinion, hanging out of the AR mag well.. and its about the same cost to shoot, so no real advantage.. Plus, I have a Glock 17/19 on the waiting list, and I have 5 of the 33 round Mags for it, so I'm covered in terms of high cap 9mm.

Never shot CMP, I'm too scared.

No one currently knows what will happen because there is no new ban. All we could compare it to is what they did the last time. So, i can't speculate what will or will not happen.

Correct, you can not sbr on a form one until you are 21.

Sell it on gunbroker, make a couple hundred profit and buy more ammo and mags? You can never have too much ammo or too many mags, seriously.

Also, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having 2 guns that are the same. That way you always have a back up that you are familiar with.

Take and get a lower parts kit and install in LAR, take upper off M4 and install on LAR lower, take stock off M4 and install on LAR lower, get camera that has date stamp and take pictures. Put pictures away if it ever becomes issue.
Reverse proceedure to original M4

I was going to say, make it an AR pistol..
And once it is built, you can SBR it when you are 21, by just adding a stock.

Scared on public shooting. Im just a kid!

Also, Ronnie, apparently its 18 to SBR a rifle. So I might just go the SBR route to begin with.
