IDPA
Anyone from Luzerne Co. Shoot IDPA?
Do you shoot anywhere besides WBRPC?
I'm interested in doing it but I am not that confident in my skills.
I am probably going to shoot with a glock 34 and/or 26.The only easy day was yesterday
Does anyone know the number for 9-1-1?

Re: IDPA
You live in a great area for IDPA. Don't sweat the small stuff, as long as you can safely load, unload, draw, and holster your firearm you are good-to-go.

Re: IDPA
Dudes, any time you want to check it out ... If I'm not travelling on business, I shoot a couple of times a month. Frozen Penguin this Friday at BRCV, Ontelaunee on the 18th, and so on. Hit me with a PM.

Re: IDPA
I shot at WBRPC for the first time this weekend. Great bunch of folk! I usually shoot at Keystone in Muncy (actually Northumberland County).
I started IDPA last January. I never "competed" before that, guns were for "serious" business. Then, along came IDPA. Hell, they were doing the stuff me and my Associates were doing for years, minus the timer. I thought, no shit, this makes sense.
As far as not being confident in your skills, I can not think of an environment more forgiving, as long as you observe safe gun handling. All around, a great bunch of people. Some folks complain of their sides hurting after a match from laughing so much. Not laughing at people, but laughing in general.
Be safe (and compete against yourself, F the rest).

Re: IDPA
I compete in IDPA at factoryville. Nice club, great people, its just out of the way. You see mostly Glocks and 1911's in use. I use a Glock 21 and a Glock 17.
