What exactly is concealed carry?
I have had plenty of debates with different people (with no real answer) and my question is in the title..is having a shirt over your weapon considered concealed? Even if you are printing. or is printing considered open carry even though the weapon is not visible but you can see the shape?

Concealed is hidden from common view, or disguised to appear as something other than what it actually is.
Printing is just that, printing. So long as you cant actually see the gun it is concealed. Printing is not open carry. Not everyone knows that a bump in a shirt is a gun, but a handgun in a holster is quite obviously a gun. The point being common view too. Most folks cant tell what a print is, but even nearly a blind man can tell what a openly carried gun is. So, having your shirt or jacket over it would be concealed. Could I see your gun? No, I'd see a shape of a gun - so it would be concealed.
Now that is all that above matters in probably 45 of the states. The other 5 you can get into trouble if you print. That their state laws have become so politically (in)correct that the mere observation of the gun is offending.Last edited by knight0334; December 23rd, 2008 at 11:57 AM.

Concealed means not plainly visible. As such, unless, the gun/holster is in plain view, it is considered to be concealed. A shirt or jacket covering the gun would make it concealed. How much of the gun needs to be exposed or concealed in order to be considered openly carried is an ambiguous question, and realistically speaking, does not matter if you have an LTCF.
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.

Carrying concealed means putting your McDonald's fries inside your jacket so your co-workers won't see them!

To right mate...LOL.
Concealed means not visible to plain view. If I can't see it and plainly tell that it is a gun then you are CC. Pa, thank gawd has no printing statute ( that Im aware of) so printing is no longer an issue. Also as others have said, if you have an LTCF, then n one of this matters. Safety is the only thing that matters beyond that.
