    Default Thames Arms Company

I have several old top break firearms that are not in working order. Anyway I was looking for some stuff (wrapping paper) around the house the other day and I found the following on top of a shelf in the office. It appears to be in working orders. I believe it to be .38 S&W, there is no model number, no serial number, no caliber markings. It is a 5 shot and has a 3" barrel. The only markings that I can locate are on the top of barrel it says

    "Thames Arms Company"
    "Norwich, CT U.S.A. PAT SEPT 2 & 30, 1902"

The finish on the firearm appears to be rubbing off, there is no rust and the entire finish very smooth. You can see the finish in the pictures below.

I'm going to have to go and see what Google comes up with...

FFEMT the pistol you have shown is probably chamered in one of the following calibers .32ACP, .32H&R or .32 short rimfire! I have some supplies of .32 short rimfire, therefore have shot several of these rounds out of this gun.

Looks a little like a Webley.
