    Angry Thief at Harrisburg show.

At the harrisburg Show Saturday afternoon Someone stole a New Sig 556 Rifle off a dealers table during a very busy time. They called the State Police in to file a report. 2000 dollar rifle gone I hate a thief. From what I understand this happens often at the Harrisburg show. Hope this person or persons gets caught and they send them up the river. Just thought I would put this out there if anyone may have seen anything odd going on at the show. Thanks.

it would have been nice if they caught the person/persons before they left the show.

Would hate to read this firearm was used in a crime.

    That's gutsy.

That's also why a lot of dealers run cables through every gun on their table or put those nets over everything.

I hope they screwup and get caught. They did catch one guy using his kid to steal a handgun at the Timonium Show in Maryland two years ago. this guy's kid was 7or8 years old, thats a scumbag making your children steal for you. Hope he's doing 10 years.

More like money for beer & smokes.
I never dreamed anyone would have the balls of steel to try to ripoff a gun (or anything else) from a gun show. That would be like hustling pool games in a biker bar.

I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often at some of those shows, with the way the customers get crammed in like sardines. Its a thief's dream as they can steal right under everyone's nose and are almost assured to get away with it.

A guy I worked with was a gun dealer, and used to do some local shows. He had several handguns taken out of one of his open cases when he stepped away for one minute to take a leak. He asked the guy at the table next to him to watch things, trusting that the guy would do so. He obviously didn't and some handguns walked away only to probably wind up on the street in the hands of some scumbag.
