Default What type of holster is better?

I carry a glock 23 in a galco stow n go. I've notice after a long day of carry there sweat on the slide. I was wondering if nylon or any other type of holster have the effect?

I've been carrying in Crossbreed SuperTucks every day for about two years now and I've never had sweat get around or through the leather. Don't let the pictures fool you, they are really comfortable, too.

Any properly made and sealed leather holster will prevent sweat from coming through.

Horsehide is key for us sweaty bastards. I CC with a CBST combat cut horsehide myself.

I use a Ryan Grizzle Georgia Snap. Very comfortable, very concealable and no moisture problems.

I've never tried a combat-cut holster from Crossbreed, but I have to agree with the point about Horsehide; As long as you don't continually flex it back and forth, it molds to your body and holds it's shape. My brother's cowhide holster does not, and I don't believe it ever has.

Horsehide is the way to go.

I'll chime in here. I have been CC'ing my G23 in a Crossbreed ST for awhile as well and I have zero complaints. I tried a bunch of others before this one and absolutely stop testing different ones when I got this one. Depending on the grip your glock has I would not recommend the combat cut. Mine tore up my skin/under shirts before I got the hogue grips skin. Although I am not sure if the non-combat cut would have made a difference.

I never had any issues with the combat cut against my skin or clothes with my Glocks.

The combat cut allows for a much nicer grip on your draw, I recommend it. It trims the leather and the kydex.

Maybe I just need to quit being a "Sally" and man up with the grip, lol. Not sure what RTF I have (new to glocks) but it is like sandpaper. Great grip in the hand though, which is what counts.

I definitely agree on the ability to draw being easier with combat cut.
