Ammo at Walmart?

Do PA Walmarts and Dick's Sorting goods stores (Particularly in Mont. County) carry handgun ammo? I know they do in many other states, but I have never looked for it in PA.

All the Wallmarts that are outside of Philadelphia sell it.

you are sure right there . I went to walmart yesterday to buy a few boxes . there was no one working sporting goods so a manager sent someone from another department . when I started giving them my order of different caliber rounds they were totally stumped , didn,t know there was but one type

My cousin went looking for Ammo in a Wal-Mart in Delco and said they didnt have any... This was the first I've ever heard of a wal-mart not carrying ammo, then again I dont go to Philly often

yeah everything but the shotgun shells (target loads) are behind the counter.

double and triple check what they give you! I've been given wrong sizes, wrong calibers, wrong size boxes, wrong manufacturers... even got handed a box of rounds that looked like they had played hockey with them for a few months and then gave em back to the sporting goods people.

Most people that work the sportsmen counter at walmart don't have a clue, not all. just most

Must be something new or they were out of stock. The Wally World's in Glenolden & Eddystone (both in DELCO) have always had it when I was there.

By the way ... The store in Eddystone always has the better display and selection.

The Walmart in Boothwyn (off 322) also carries ammo. It is in a large case next to the cash register in the sporting goods department.

Why would you just tell them what you want? Point to the exact box and if they don't grab it then tell them right away! I always point to the exact box I want. If they grab even another box of the same ammo, I tell them "no, I want that one", etc.

The guy in Kennett I buy from opens the cabinet and lets me grab the one I want.

Some Wal-Mart stores do not sell guns, but still sell ammo. Some don't sell either. Depends on the area the store is located. All the stores in PA I've been to sell handgun ammo.
