Ammo at Walmart?

I buy ammo at Wal-Mart on occasion but it seems like every time I do I get a distinct feeling that I am bothering the help. There is never anyone at the desk.

The Walmart in Boothwyn (off 322) also carries ammo. It is in a large case next to the cash register in the sporting goods department.

I think i am done buying ammo at walmart. Stoped in there today to pick up a few 100rd packs of 9mm. They are selling for 19.97 per 100 now. Back when they were $15 and change, it was a pretty good deal. Then it went up to $18 and change and i thought ok, still a little cheaper than buying 1k of federal. But now that it is nearly $20 i'm done. I will continue to purchase bulk 1k round cases mail order from now on. I'd buy at walmart when i didn't feel like breaking open a new sealed 1k case. Not any longer.

That is not entirely true. I have been able to purchase 45 acp federal hydrashoks at Dicks Sporting Goods in Dickson city so I know they carry atleast personal defense ammo for pistols.

As this thread is so old I guess it matters not. Sorry I was so late in finding it as Guilda Radner would have said "NeverMind"
