Personal Protection Outside the Home

This NRA approved 14 hour program of instruction will teach you:

…The essentials of the force continuum for violent encounters outside the home.

…The legal ramifications of the use of force in personal defense of life in violent encounters outside the home (PA Attorney will present for two hours)

…The selection of a firearm for use in personal defense outside the home

. ..The pros and cons of concealed carry methods of firearms for use in personal defense outside the home

…The NRA approved method of drawing a firearm from concealment in a strong side holster or a purse/off body carry device in personal defense outside the home.

…To discuss the safe methods of draw from alternate concealment devices, such as shoulder holster, cross draw holster, ankle holster, fanny pack concealment.

…Defensive Accuracy in the use of a firearm for personal protection outside the home

…The proper use of movement, concealment, and cover for personal protection in violent encounters outside the home.

Must be able to demonstrate safe gun handling skills (muzzle and trigger control) Strong side holster, eye, and ear protection required.
About 200 rounds of practice ammunition required.

THIS COURSE IS A MANDATORY PRE-REQUISITE TO BECOMING AN INSTRUCTOR OR TRAINING COUNSELOR IN THIS DISCIPLINE.
