My pump 22s
I can barely pass up a nice old 22 pump rifle, They're hours of fun, The top two are Remington 12As, 285xxx and 545xxx, Made about 1910 and 1920,,
And the lower one is a 1914 Savage model 29 with hexagon barrel and a very old weaver scope,
The 12As will go 1" at 25 yards all day, (iron sights) and the Savage will hit bottle caps at 50 yards pretty stinkin' easy!
Sometimes I just hang out here at home in the garage shooting into the back yard using Aquila Super Colibri 22 rounds and they are WAY quieter than my break barrel pellet gun!
Funny thing is I have all the essential evil rifles and then some,
Target 22s that will blind a fly out to 100 yards.
But these lil' pump action 22s bring out the kid in me!
They are most likely the last rifles I would sell if I had to sell the long guns.
Well I would keep one and some evil rifle.
Anyone else just love to plink with the nearly 100 year old toys????

Nice collection you have there. Never was much into pump .22's but they do look sweet. Especially for being nearly 100 years old.

Nice! Amazing how well those old guns still function, isn't it?

Re: My pump 22s
Thanks folks!
I think everyone needs one, They are old, come apart with a dime, Function with shorts/longs/long rifle ammo, and they are modern enough to handle all 22 ammo, and I dont think we have come to far with accuracy in the past 100 years with 22 ammo.
Always fun to shoot and eat any ammo, Not picky at all.
If you keep an eye out you can pick them up CHEAP, The Savage was 150 OTD, and the 2 remingtons were in the 200 range, All original and clean.

Re: My pump 22s
I've always liked pump .22s. Finally got one a few years back in the form of a Remington Model 12. Not sure if it's a 12A or what year it is, but it is a lot of fun to shoot.
Plinking with a pump or lever, especially rapid firing, can be more fun than a semi, I think.
