Default Reopening a closed public range ????

Just wondering if there is any possible way to have an old public range reopened? Anyone know who to contact about this? The range is in York New Salem, York County.

In regards to the specific range, Not saying don't try but many already have, including myself. We all got the same answer, "closed indefinitely". Is there a way, sure, offer to foot the bill to keep it running?!?!

They did this one sneaky style...Closed for renovations, then for lead mitigation, then "closed indefinitely". This happened over about 2 years.

I stopped going long before than anyway for several reasons.

I really did not know why it was closed, I was back to it in archery season and had seen that the benches are gone, and alot of the old wooden guard rails are in pretty bad shape. I was thinking about getting a patition started and maybe donating some time, materials and equipment. I don't want to beat a dead horse either.

Closed "indefinitely" doesn't mean closed "forever." It just means "Closed for an unspecified period of time."

I would think that it would be possible to re-open an old range, but probably not worth the expense. If anything, you'd be fighting the NIMBYs, the environMENTAList wackos, the knee-jerk bleeding heart liberals, those useless hippie potheads, the commie-pinko leftists, and a host of other groups that would be bent on ruining your good time.
