    Default Unknown Case

    Ok, help me identify this case;
    Rim diameter – 0.497”
    Case Length – 2.18”
    Fired case will not accept a 308 bullet.
    Rimless and Berdan
    Looks like a 7.65x53 but fatter at rim and shoulder with longer neck.

    ---------8

    D------------------A

    ---------92---------Ignore the dashes, formatting only.

    Headstamp.

    Thanks
    Steve

    They made a 53? I thought that it was 7.62x54

    The 7.65x53 was the Argentine and Turk Mauser round.

    This is close as I can get with a .308" bullet not fitting and dimensions given.
