Carry at NRA Headquarters?
Does anyone know if the NRA allows employees to carry guns while at work? I visited the headquarters many years ago and didn't note anyone open carrying. Although there were a few people walking through the halls at lunch with gun cases headed to the giant indoor shooting range in the basement for lunch.
The NRA headquarters is in Virginia making carrying, either open or concealed, at work quite possible and I would be shocked if the NRA didn't allow carry at work but thought they might restrict it to concealed only.

Re: Carry at NRA Headquarters?
I don't know the answer to your question, but it would be one hell of a bad PR deal if an NRA employee got fired for carrying a gun.

Re: Carry at NRA Headquarters?
I've been there several times for various LEO training seminars, I have not seen anyone inside the building carrying.
I don't remember seeing any signs that say "no firearms", so it is probably a company policy. During the two seminars (Glock and Sig armorer courses) and the first break they wanted anyone carrying to unload any weapons they were carrying. This may have been to eliminate the possibility of live ammo getting into the mix.
But I have carried in the main building as well as the museum.

It'd be interesting to have a survey of what they carry there.
