    Default PSP Ruger Security Six?

Can someone tell me what configuration the PSP had - blued/stainless, bbl length, etc.? Thanks!

    From the PSP history page:

"In June 1980, department members were issued a new sidearm, the .357 magnum Ruger, a stainless steel, four inch barrel revolver. It was the first major change in State Police issued weaponry in its 75 year history."

Cool! Thanks! I think I have one of these, from the oral provenance of the previous owner, it's serial number, and configuration.

    You're welcome.

I never had the gun, but I do have two different duty holsters for it that I got from a PSP collector.

I really don't need them...if you're interested let me know via PM and I'll give you a deal on them.

Are they black leather Gould & Goodrich, stamped "CAH 54" on the back?

Oh wow! Do they have any markings on them (such as PSP)?

Not that I can see, which is why I was asking about them. All I have is circumstantial evidence and hear-say, but I think I have a PSP gun.

Both are black leather. One has ACW stamped on the back and has the longer, more flexible thumb break strap and the belt loop at the top. The other is a JAY-PEE with the belt loop on the back of holster and the shorter, rigid thumb break.
