+1 for Stubby. I have also had the same good experiences with prices and customer service.

Re: Stubby Gear between York and Hanover Pa.
I was the guy at the counter when he did that- the look on your face was PRICELESS. Don't feel bad- I've been trying to keep costs done and not get into anything new- well let's just say he has one less lower and I'm in trouble.

Yeah, I got rid of my AR stuff a year or so ago, been trying to ignore the bug but Eric had them sitting out and...well you know.

Re: Stubby Gear between York and Hanover Pa.
visited stubby's for the first time today, and i really liked this place. a friend and i went initially to just have a look around, but he decided he just had to have the mosin that was on the wall. needless to say, i was not going to talk him out of it . he is now officially a firearms owner!
the guy behind the counter seemed like he knew his stuff (basing this on the conversations he had with a couple of customers while we were looking around), and was very nice. my friend and i are both 18, and neither of us look especially older than we actually are, but this guy didn't seem to have a problem with it (unlike some other gun stores i've been in) and was very polite.
one complaint: he had a steelers hoodie on!

Wanted to add to this. I did a transfer Thursday night with Dimark1009, and I cant think of any shop I have been to with better customer service then these guys. The gentlemen behind the counter were more than helpful with everything, and even let me hold a couple future purchased. I am really glad I found this place thanks to the members on here, and I will be returning soon with some more pay checks. Thanks again guys!

I've got to second that. I've bought from Eric at the gun shows for years and have had nothing but positive experiences w/ him and his staff. I usually leave w/ a couple bags of stuff and a negative balance on my card.

Re: Stubby Gear between York and Hanover Pa.
I went by there the other week and picked up a S&W M&P compact in 9mm. Service was good as always. Heck I did not even plan to buy a new toy, but it needed a home. Actually the price at stubbys with transfer was still less then the gun before transfer at another shop I will not mention.
The customer service was good as always everything was smooth and the new toy shoots very well.
