Cool If you had to choose....

    Hi to all!

Just signed up here in SW PA. Also just dropped off my LTCF application in the mail today. I have been researching a few hand guns and looking for something in the sub compact range. I have been eyeing the XD SUB 9 and the PARA HAWG 9. If you were to choose, which would be the better of the two?
Maybe neither...looking for 3" light compact for CC.

    Any input apprecciated...

    Thanks...Dave

Stick with the XD or take a look at the M&P compact. Small format 1911's like the Para can be problematic.

Same here, I'd go with the XD for starters.

I've got the DX9 Sub and its excellent. Shoots great never jams and its even better for CC. Small, light and it does the job.

(sorry for the bad picture camera phones aren't the best.)

    Agree with TonyF.
XD sub or S&W M&P compact.

Also, here are the best CC holsters that I have ever seen or used.
    I have two myself.
Very light, comfortable and tight to the body.

I have the Glock 26 and my wife the XD subcompact 9mm. Both are great CC guns. I like the Glock.

XD sub compact 9. Almost 1k rounds through it and no issues.

Cant say anything but good stuff about the XD line of pistols. Great grip angle, solid construction, easy to maintain...smooth trigger pull.

(I'm actually selling my subcompact if you're interested, I want to go full size)

Either would do the job well you need to decide which you like better.
