I'm going to be adding soon though cant wait. Next week I'll be putting my order in for a 700sps .308 then probably next month I'll be aquireing a mini 14 ranch so this year I'll be adding more than usual lol pay raise lol I would like to get a gun safe soon. Probably a cheaper one but I want it to hold a decent amount any ideas?

Stackon makes a cheap double door model for about $250ish, since your probably going to be moving around with the Militrary, it would probably be good to just get a locker and the get a real safe once you get settled. Then the locker can serve other purposes in the garage.

I'll keep it in mind. I did see a safe at the Orschelan store out here in kansas (kind of like Farm and Country) I think it was a Centurioun I cant remember for sure. The cheapest one was 780. Thanks for the info.

Sentry makes a decent and cheap gun safe. I know a few guys that have them, and I know of one that survived a fire. The guns were all fine.

They make them in fire-rated and non-fire-rated.

    Wal-mart sells them, and I think a 24 gunner is like $650.

yeah the bottom is the groundhog slayer but I'll keep Sentry in mind. Right now we live in an apartment so probably when a:I can get enough money saved and B: when we have a groundlevel place where crap load of weight wont be sitting on just timbers. Thats when I'll get it. I think I will look into a fire protective model. That just being well prepared lol . Thanks for the input .
