Any Buckmark owners in the Lehigh Valley area?
Greetings all
Mrs. Plinker has asked me for my official request regarding my Christmas present. I have a .22 target pistol in my sights (so to speak). I have owned and fired a lot of different pistols over the years, and I am able to rule out a number because of the way they don't fit my hand. Some are ruled out because of the price. Others are ruled out because I already have one. But most of my .22 pistols are plinkers of varying accuracy and fun. I am looking to go up to the next level. I have narrowed that next level down to a Smith and Wesson 22A or a Browning Buckmark. I am going to be spending some time with my good friend and fellow member LastManOut shooting his 22A, hopefully tomorrow. Is there anyone in the Lehigh Valley or Reading area who owns a Buckmark and would be willing to at least let me handle it a bit? Ideally I would like to shoot one, but I do not want to impose on someone else's generosity too much. I know I can go to a couple of different stores and see one, but that is not quite the same as talking to the person who owns one and has experience with it.
Thanks.

I'm not in the Lehigh Valley area, but I will say that the Buckmark is a great pistol. It's well made and balances well. I would highly recommend one. I have the 5.5 target model myself.

Thanks for the response unclemoak. I'll be sure to post pics of whatever I end up with, although if I can't get my hands on a Buckmark easily, whether from someone here or at the store, it will most likely be a 22A. I don't like to buy things I can't handle first, especially when it comes to fitting my hand.

I just bought this used...like new..and it's one of my favorites right now. I handled a new S&W and did't like it at all. The Browning feeds everything 100% from cheap WalMart ammo to RWS Pistol Match....a real tack driver, Mike.
