Default Good price for a Colt 6920?

Well, I have a chance to buy a Colt 6920 NIB. What is the normal going rate for these things? I have no clue, and it's hard to tell now that everything is so inflated.

Lately I've seen them from $1399 to $1999.......I'd say if you can get it for between $1400 and $1500 you're doing good thanks to the greedy gun owners out there gouging the piss out of their buddies.

They have gone crazy as of late. The money appears to be $1600-$1800 and they are selling very quickly. I was going to buy a second one recently and ended up getting a LMT instead (it will be here soon I hope).

$1499 brand new from Colt is the price I'm getting. Dealer in Alaska. I might just go crazy and buy two . . .

That's not a horrible price these days, if I were into Colts I'd probably pick one up for that.

I haven't done a ton of research on them. Is the carry handle detachable? That's kind of a dealbreaker for me. It HAS To be detachable.

Call East Coast Gun Sales in Altoona, PA. They have them in stock almost all the time. Last time I was there they were $1299. Not saying they haven't jacked prices since the election but it might be worth the trouble to call. Their # is 814-695-2104. Good luck!

I'm about 99% sure it is but a google search would confirm that. http://www.impactguns.com/store/COLT-LE6920BF.html

If not, I'll sell ya my M&P 15 with a detachable handle for $2999. (hey I may as well gouge too right?)
