Very scary. Never want to go that deep again.
    Why was it scary?

I'm considering dragging my gear along on this trip....but I don't want to pay the extra baggage fees if they're just going to be lame "aquarium" dives.

....interesting those rounds weren't detected at the airport that the family flew out from.

Knowing you*re leaving the country why wouldn*t you start with a confirmed empty bag? Just not a good move. I only fly domestic and I always check for no no items. And also, strange the rounds weren*t picked up going thru the scanners. Sorry, not much sympathy here.

Not sure if you may be thinking it was a frame job overseas....but I wouldn't put much faith in a TSA flunkie being able to find his own ass.

They steal your Armani cologne… lol

I travel to or through Heathrow a couple or more times a month and I’m a carry-on only traveller when solo. Many times when I’m selected for the hand swabbing upon arrival at LHR and transferring to my UK-domestic flight to Newcastle when we also live, I’ll have been shooting the day before. Their machines seem to be sensitive to powder residue….

Usually they ask why, I tell them I’VE BEEN SHOOTING ASSAULT RIFLES & PISTOLS WHILE RUNNING AROUND IN BODY ARMOR ALL WEEKEND… they make funny faces, push some hidden buttons lol, they do their test, then I head to the BA lounge to abuse the self-pour bars. (Galleries South, mate; North lounge is for wankers…).

A few trips ago in March, the dude took my cologne and we had an argument. Douche bag supervisor also was a douche bag. I proceeded onwards without my cologne. c*nts…
