Default best and worst of n.e.p.a gun shops...

basically this is how i feel about this thread,

we as fire arm owners and sportsman in general spend alot of time and money on our hobby.and i have noticed that not all gun shops are created equally.i will be dedicating alot of time on this thread to help gun owners, new and old find the best place to spend their hard earned money and get the best deals on exactly what they want.feel free to let me know of a shop you would like me to check out for review.further more this thread and my review of a shop is my opinion.you may feel differently about a shop then i do.but so we are all clear i look for the essentials of a good business as much as the items in which they sell. a five star rating system is what i will use to help keep everyone on the same page.a one being the lowest grade and a five being top notch.

    ADVANCE ARMS LLC,pittston p.a. ----

no need to delay on this one.. - 5* -

well stocked show room and a friendly staff make advance arms a pleasure to visit.clean, well lit, and comfortable.

the selection is incredible and prices are reasonable.
no matter what the situation advance arms will have you covered.

    highly recommended..

    SHAWNEE GUNS,plymouth p.a.

a petite little shop with a super freindly owner who is more then happy to help anyone with any question.

cant say that i was to impressed with the show room, and the selection isnt huge but as you look through you will find some interesting pieces and very nice prices.probably one of the best place's to check for used items

doesnt seem very up to date in some areas.

    RATING = 3 1/2*

Why should people read this and value your opinion?
Perhaps being a little bit more open with who you are may help.

    STAPELTON'S PHARMACY,wyoming p.a.

a small little hole in the wall with lots of old fashioned charm.
the owner is a very friendly and helpfull sales person.the selection is not to much in reference to quantity but with the way the stock rotates you just never know what you may find on a visit.the prices are incredible and the ability to haggle down a dollar or two is always available.
i wouldnt drive 2 hours just to check it out,but if you are going to be in the area i would make sure to stop in.

I am a 44 year old, Gun shop owner. I am not a kid or an old man. I have my likes and dislikes as far as guns go.
If I were to be one to evaluate NEPA gun shops I would want the people that I am informing to know where I stand.
When you post a negative review the shit may hit the fan.
Good luck with this! It may turn out to be a good tool. Or it may just get locked down when it gets negative.

    hey flynn,

i didnt need to know nor do i care about your age.or your proffession.
it is your opinion i value most.
your opinion just like mine is one mans idea or belief on any given subject.
i do value all opinions as it is knowledge that is truly the weapon of choice for us all.as far as negetive reviews go.

    I AM YOUR CUSTOMER!
LISTENING TO ME MAY JUST HELP YOUR BUSINESS!

i dont want you as a gun shop owner to feel threatened by me.
i dont want you to shut down or lose business.

but then again i am looking at this from a customer's point of view to help other fire arm enthusiast's explore all the options they have at their disposal.

thanks again flynn for the post and as funny as this may sound i really look forward to working with you in the future.
