Look at the FN 502, Capacity up to 15 rounds, reliable and allows a micro sight, has a threaded barrel, pic rail for lights and lasers and reasonable price around $400.

Just last week I ordered a Taurus TX22 standard model without a manual safety. Should be in this week. I know...a Taurus! I went back and forth between it and the Sig P322. The reviews I've seen pretty much have the Taurus and the Sig neck and neck. The Taurus was about $140 less than the Sig. That's 2000 rounds of 22lr. So, we'll see how it goes. I have a Walther P22 that I got 10 years ago that I have massaged to be somewhat reliable. I wanted a 22 that was a little larger.

Replace the recoil system with one from Lakeline or Tandemkross. Either one will keep your slide from getting beat up by the stock recoil assembly. It's a known issue which leads to gouging and cracking of the slide. Cheap insurance and you don't have to deal with Taurus's shitty customer service.

I have one of these and like it. With a red dot and a can it's a lot of fun.

Yep, I already have it on my wishlist at Lakeline!! Also will probably get a fiber optic front sight as well. Already have 2 extra mags coming.
    Thanks!

As said before, Ruger MK IV. Nice to shoot, easy to clean.

MK IV 22/45 Lite is the answer. Had a TX22 and sold it after the 22/45 Lite came along. TX22 is great, the 22/45 is just a lot better.

Added some TK goodies and the VQ accurizing kit. Must haves IMO

Can*t beat a Ruger MKIV, Ruger MK series has a long track record and no doubt one of the best 22*s out there. With the one button takedown on the MKIV makes it that much better, not to mention the aftermarket support.
    Today was a good day!
