    Disagree.

If someone feels voting is that important, they would not schedule a vacation at that time.

Would they go on vacation if their kid was getting married? Dozens of other reasons people schedule vacations to avoid missing important events, so why not for voting? If it's truly that important?

Assume this post was a joke... nevertheless, I'll play.

You have to apply for an Absentee ballot. I've never used the service, but if I booked a cruise on November 5th I'd surely request one. https://www.vote.pa.gov/Voting-in-PA...ee-Ballot.aspx

Absentee ballot - If you plan to be out of the municipality on election day or if you have a disability or illness that prevents you from going to your polling place on election day, you can request this ballot type, which still requires you to list a reason for your ballot.

    OK...

What I'm saying is that you shouldn't get to vote absentee "because I want to go away that day".

    Not a joke.

Absentee ballots are different than no-excuse mail in ballots. Absentee ballots are legitimate and you do have to indicate a reason. I have no reason to believe that large amounts of fraud have occurred via absentee ballots.

No-excuse mail in ballots, that were authorized via Act 77, are a whole different animal

You are also spot on about that reckoning. Let it begin...
Nissley is largely self-funding his campaign. While Cutler is enjoying the benefits of being an incumbent legislator which includes the endorsement of the VERY influential Lanc Co GOP. (Not all members of the Lanc Co GOP support Cutler, but they will suffer consequences for publicly or financially supporting Nissley). He has supporters, but they must tread lightly

I'm for the in person vote, if you can't be there in person you don't get to vote in that election. Like EM said:

We put off going to Ecuador for a two week trip in 2007 until after the election in which Obama was elected. Ecuador was still there when we went the day after the election.
