It's quite possible to have several things come up during a PICS check. Let's say you are a white male with blond hair and blue eyes standing 5'00" tall named Fred Johnson with a date of birth of 01/01/2001 and a social security number of 111-11-1111. If Franklin Johnson, asian male with brown hair and hazel eyes with a date of birth of 01/15/2001 has a bench warrant for failure to pay, the check may get flagged. It would then go into research status and a live human could then clearly differentiate between the two people Sometimes the system finds enough of a similarity that it simply creates a denial. After a challenge form is submitted, a human operator then differentiates between the two and clears up the situation for the person wrongly denied. Sometimes folks that get arrested have four, five or even more dates of birth / social security numbers associated with their past crimes. It happens more than it should, but if EVERY pics check was done by a live person, none of us would ever get cleared for a LTCF or a purchase at an FFL. It would simply be too much work. This could be the case with the OP. Not sure why he didn't receive a challenge form with his denial letter.

And I did that because I thought when I applied this year it wouldn't be a problem, I'm not taking this Lie. I deleted those 2 threads because it got emotionally sour, I'm not a Gossiper, if I told the whole entire story you would believe this Cop should be wearing a dress. I do not Lie in life about anything ✌️

So did you get denied, or was your LTCF revoked?

Charges were dismissed, they were manufactured charges and Everyone seems to know that, but one lawyer told me that even an arrest in itself "They" can throw Lies like Character & Reputation into the arena. What I don't know is when I move out of my current county would this affect me in other counties? I asked 2 Sheriff's Office people 1 said "Well" not here in this county and another said he didn't know. I definitely am moving to a different county but who knows in the future, I might come back to my current county although I doubt that.

And, if I recall, you were told to go get a lawyer back then, too.

You are playing a game you do not understand on their field by their rules.

    Go get a lawyer.
