    Default Purse Carry

Stop the wiseass comments up front lol. This is for a lady in my life.

S&W MP9 Shield 9mm is the weapon. As opposed to getting a specific cc purse, what kid of holsters are an option? Maybe a sticky? Ideas and thoughts?

Stickys are great, especially for da wimmins. Remora usually has BOGO deals going on.

Let her watch this. It also breaks down the options pretty well.

I like sticky holsters too. Maybe for her purse get some Velcro so it isn*t just flopping around inside and it*s always pointing in the right direction and in the same place every time

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were asking what kind of holster instead of a CC purse. I wouldn't recommend purse carry with any holster. It's way to slow and snaggy. An easy access CC purse is a slightly better bad option.

I don't know why so many women have an aversion to carrying on their person, when it's the only logical and smart place to carry.

Okay, I get you. Baby steps here. Off body first then on body, trying to get her used to the concept. So.....

On body carry is the only viable way to carry. Purses can be snatched, forgotten and are very slow on the draw.

Single stack nines or 380's are much easier to conceal as an IWB with women that usually wear tighter clothes.

My purse is a tool bag. Gun wallet keys knife flashlight hearing aid batteries aspirin change etc etc

It goes into the car when i leave the property. Ii i gotta go in a store, i gun up appendix carry.

Very convenient for a dirty old man. I used to be a filthy young degenberate, but i got older and better at it.

Its a red tool bag purse, but I'm so heterosexual i could rock a hot pink one with hearts and flowers and sparkly unicorns and still pull in the foxy ladies...

It doesnt help the OP and the wife carry project, but POOFA thread drift is pretty much a given.

Dunno her body shape, but the holster on the bra thing seems logical for some,

I have a pretty good idea why - because it's a pain in the ass, and generally uncomfortable.

    This isn't rocket science.
