You are correct, my mistake. It came up when i did the project farm search and i thought he did another that i had not seen yet. My mistake, i should know better

The guy who does project farm generally does good videos and tries to take subjectivity out as much as possible. Thanks for pointing that out.

What do people use for applicators for oils / bore cleaners? There are a lot of cheap squeeze bottles with a needle applicator on Amazon but I am sure they will melt with a bore cleaner. There are even expensive ones from gun oil companies but I still don't know if they will be good for Eds red with acetone.
I use the ones from Amazon for oils but also look for glass ones I got one that came in a 2 pack of brown glass jars with spray nozzles for hoppes9 even has a small funnel to fill back up

I have enjoyed using Weapon Shield for years - used it on EVERYTHING - until I learned they went out of business a few years ago - then I reserved my remaining supply strictly for guns.

Apparently they are back in business - new owner who worked with George (original owner) bought the rights and formula to produce it again.
Here's a "Bob is the Oil Guy" forum thread with a discussion on the closure/re-emergence of Weapon Shield.

Watt's Truck Center sells Weapon Shield (New Alexandria, PA)
I believe our own forum member RocketFoot handles the orders
They have the oiler pens in stock now - love these!

Hoping it's still just as good as the original!

I was hoarding my final bottle of Weapon Shield, and a year or so ago, I was informed that Advance Auto was clearancing out all their Lucas Oil Products GUN OILS.
I ended up hitting every location within a reasonable distance and picking up a BUNCH of small bottles for something like seventy five cents to a buck fifty vs the original five to ten dollars each. (I can't recall the exact prices, but it was a huge savings)
Pretty sure I discovered similar deals at Walmart on clearance not long after that.

I doubt I'll eve need to buy gun oil again in this lifetime.

I got some of their regular Gun Oil as well as their Extreme Duty Gun Oil

For the compressor oil, I'm using some stuff for an industrial screw compressor I was given. I used to use something I got from Amazon, it was a black and gold bottle rated for cold weather service.

Switched over to Lucas a couple years ago and been very satisfied, like the extreme gun oil for my semi*s and the CLP for cleaning.
    Today was a good day!

Break Free CLP worked fine for 17 years of military service. Still does.

This just came about but Wilson Combat oils specifically the blue action oil is just rebottled/rebranded Lucas Extreme duty I’m not sure of the other stuff but the lite oil seems like the ATF I have from Walmart for $6 a qt but I’m not sure. But 100% action oil is Lucas all the way. Kinda makes me question is 1911 quality being real or is that rebranded too. At least I was only scammed out of $15 for oil instead of $4000 for a 1911 that a Dan Wesson would outshine

If anyone wants to swap I have a bottle of action oil and a bottle of lite oil unopened I’ll take radcolube, g96, breakfree clp, Clenzoil or ballistol let me know
