Talk about bullshit and I agree, if the caller was game commission, it sounds like entrapment to me too. Is this really the biggest problem they have?

If not the biggest problem, it's got great optics for PGC law enforcement, and an easy bust.

Maybe this does need revisiting. I might agree with the illegality of actually stalking deer by drone. Then again, tons of fishermen use fish finders.

But if you hit and can't find a deer, using a drone kind of seems like a viable option.

I guess PGC would just rather hunters wound a deer, then go home and leave it to die, get eaten by scavengers, and rot away?

Novel application of law never intended to cover the scenario. Judge prolly anti. Next: tree-mounted cameras that transmit to cell phone.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I'm definately anti drone for hunting. That's all we need. Drones everywhere on opening day.

I believe the article states the drone was used after legal hunting hours and only to find a "supposed" wounded deer.
