Re: hb336 Assault Weapons ban
...only if you comply. I have come to the conclusion, I don't care about any BS laws they come up with...they're all illegal according to the State and USA Constitution.
Also, I'm not going to comply and let a bunch of illegal gang members roll all over us. The "Declaration of Independence" comes to mind. We're not committing a crime, they are---criminals are running the system, does complying help or hurt?"I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." Thomas Jefferson

Re: hb336 Assault Weapons ban
For the sake of argument, Why does the state and us constitution carry more weight than any bills/laws? It's all just paper, written by people. You may agree with one more than the other, but what if someone else agrees with the one you don't like? Or is it whoever came first? Who decides? Or are they equally worthless and we do what we want?

Re: hb336 Assault Weapons ban
First off---Because we are a "Constitutional Representative Republic". Meaning, the government is LIMITED by the Constitution regardless if it's the State or Federal. You can not bypass the Constitution and there are ways to CHANGE the Constitution without bypassing it by illegal laws. Both parties have written illegal laws---guns are one of them. This does not mean all laws are illegal, but those pertaining to the 1791 Bill of rights and of the states most certainly are!
Secondly--These politicians took an oath to abide by the constraints of the Constitution. They simply don't care---so either they're liars or traitors.
We are not a democracy where "feelings" create law. Like I said earlier, we're not the criminals, they are---they're breaking their oath, they're writing illegal laws. So does complying with illegal laws make us safer? Why are they writing laws that are obviously illegal? Why should we comply with laws (gun laws) that are clearly a natural right that is also a written right where "government can not infringe". It's there for a reason and only tyrants are the ones trying to remove it by bypassing it."I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." Thomas Jefferson
