Prevent getting shot more than once, right? I doubt cops are carrying with the chamber empty.

Magazine disconnect prevents firing the chambered round. That's the idea of the system...prevents "empty gun" syndrome.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

    That should fix the problem.

Letting the perps out without bail will help too.
As usual, the scam is to ban "Glock switches and other similar devices". Guess what they will cram into "other similar devices"? Binary triggers, hand cranks, bump stocks, string, rubber bands, bump-firing off your belly, etc. Maybe all aftermarket triggers.

The Left relies entirely on deception and force.

Like the MD law banning "anything that increases firing rate"..... Gun Oil, training, belt loops, etc...

I once read a piece of locker room juris prudence sagely warning that wearing a holster with a gun in it proved premeditation to shoot someone.

No. With the magazine disconnect the pistol will not fire the round in the chamber if the magazine is removed.

I personally like the ability to fire the round in the chamber if I have to, while doing a magazine reload.

    -Chaz

Glock has already manufactured a projection on the newly manufactured frames to block the installation of the Glock Switch or a "Glock switch like back plate". There is NO reason to remove it other than to install a switch.

    I know.

Politicians are fortunate that most people are incredibly stupid/ignorant.

I'm actually surprised they haven't started a push to ban them.
