    Default Looking for a Gunsmith (Central PA)

    Bill Moyer has finally retired.(Great Guy) from Carlisle ..I am looking for a new Smith to help with my gun needs.. Any Suggestions?? For those of you that don't know Bill.. He Has been building guns and working on them for a very long time..He built my Step dads 6.5 x 300 Weatherby back in the '60's for 1000 yard bench rest...

    Don't know how far you are from mountain top, but send a pm to PA Patriot. He is an excellent gunsmith. And he might be able to help.

    My father-in-law builds Benchrest guns in Hazleton. He is the PA State champ at 100 and 200 yards in the Hunter Class. He's not an internet guy, but I can give you his number if you'd like.

    Sorry to hear about Bill Moyer retiring. He is/was an excellent smith and great person.

    I highly recommend Bill Hollis from M&B Custom Firearms (http://www.customfirearms.net/). He knows his stuff and does excellent work.
