I've slowly purchased reloading components as available/sale for the next 10-years.. It's good SHTF currency as well, though not as good as factory ammo.

I loaded up during the Trump years. Other than 5.7x28 which I got into last year, I*m set for a long time. Between the risk of ammo being unavailable and inflation, ammo is one thing that makes sense to stock up on.

I don't shoot much anymore, so I have enough to last a good while. To make reloading worthwhile, you need to get all components for next to nothing.

I'm glad I purchased so much during the Trump years. I still buy bits and bobs here and there when on sale.

I only buy a box here & there. I already had an okay supply coming into the Obama and post-Obama era.

I can load 9mm for about 170-180 per thousand and I also buy factory 9mm for 230-240 thousand, I also reload for some rifle calibers for much cheaper than I can buy factory ammo for it. I been setup for a while as far as brass, powder and primers go. The price I said is if I have to buy components at today*s prices. I still have a bunch or pre madness primers and powder so I*m actually still reloading 9mm for about 140-150 per thousand.
    Today was a good day!
