Re: WHAT IS THE BEST SEMI AUTO PISTOL YOU'VE EVER SHOT?
Best? What makes "best"? Accuracy? Trigger? Reliability?
The most accurate pistol would be my IZH-35M .22LR target pistol.
Centerfire, it would have to be an ugly Ballester-Rigaud that I foolishly sent back to SOG because it had no finish left. I cleaned a slow fire target at 25 yards with it.
Best trigger would be the IZH-35M again. Followed by a Norinco 1911 that had extensive trigger work done.
Reliability? I don't own a gun that isn't reliable.

Those aren't mutually exclusive, but sure.
My post was meant as sarcasm... these threads are silly, because they result in a different answer with each post.
p.s. welcome to the forum.

My Browning Challenger is pretty nice. It just melts into your hand.

For me reliability is number one, accuracy depends on who*s shooting it. I*ve seen guys with 3k 1911*s that couldn*t hit the side of a barn and guys with 500.00 Glocks shoot like they had a 3k accurized 1911.
"Best" is whatever you say it is.

Best is just what it says. There is no best when it comes to semi auto handguns, to many variables.
As already mentioned, every response will be something different.
Today was a good day!

That's because "best" is whatever someone says it is (;
With no criteria for "best", it can mean anything. It's like division by zero.

Not necessarily mutually exclusive but you don't want the trigger from a free pistol on a combat weapon. A free pistol will have a trigger less than 100 grams which is only 3.5 ozs.
