Wraithworks WARP-15 All Polymer AR
This one looks interesting. A polymer upper and lower. The lower is made by KE Arms, so something with a proven track record. The upper is a clamshell over trunion design, which is different from earlier polymer AR upper attempts. Seems like it a solid product. They're claiming 5lbs for under $500. Not bad.
Not a lot of info out there. The WARP-15 on their site doesn't match the price stated in the video below. Not sure if it will be a different SKU, or what.

Interesting.
The biggest downside I see is that you can't swap out the handguard to something you may like better.
I mean, plenty of people buy guns and are fine with whatever the manufacturer chose, but having built all of mine to my personal tastes, it's not something I'm drawn to.
Here's my 5 lb lightweight build. I spent more on it, but I also chose a lot of specialty/upper end parts in this build.

I'm not convinced that the upper being polymer is a huge weight savings.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Oh no. A plastic gun that will go through the xray machine at the airport. Remember when they said that about Glocks.
I prefer guns that are wood and steel. That being said I have several plastic guns that I'd trust my life with.
