    Default Henry Lever Action Supreme

Looks like Henry got tired of me bugging them to make a Long Ranger that took AR mags. Their new Lever Action Supreme comes in .223 and .300BLK, has a threaded muzzle, and takes AR mags. It's also hammerless with a sealed receiver, so you don't get gas to the face when shooting suppressed. Also, the bolt AR based, so you can keep spare parts on hand. Looking forward to checking this out, especially in .300BLK. Guess I'll have to keep bugging them to offer this in 8.6BLK next...

Interesting. Kinda surprised they didn't short stroke the lever for maximum tactikoolness. I like the AK/Mini-14 style mag release.

I watched CF do a report on this while I was working out yesterday morning…

Other than if simply a lever fan or in a crap State, why would I want a lever 5.56 when I could have any decent AR?

Seems to be the year of the lever gun.

I just wish more were originalistic in design, something like the Winnies, Marlin pre-336, etc. Wood, no plastic shit.

In PA? So you can legally hunt with it. Otherwise it's because any random goober can afford an AR these days, but you'll probably be the only one at the range with a 5.56 lever action.

People are simply bored with the AR, they're too cheap and too common. They've dominated the market for well over a decade now and like all other fashions it ceases to be cool when everybody has it.

I've always wanted a bolt action that takes AR or AK mags, but a lever gun that uses those mags would be so much faster to shoot.

I'm not excited so much because I think it would be "better" than an AR15, but because having a "hi-cap" lever gun that shares mags with guns I already own? Yes, please.

I like levers with wood, synthetic is ok but one that takes mags, don*t care for that.
    Today was a good day!
