Or just measure the O-ring and go to McMasterCarr.com and buy a bag of 100 for a few bucks.

After I posted that I was thinking, home dumpster probably has o-rings.

Tractor Supply Co. sells individual O-Rings for a few ¢ each and Hobo Freight sells O-Ring assortments for a pretty reasonable price. Buy replacement O-Rings before the original O-Ring breaks and keep them handy.
On another note, I've been using shell holders instead of the aluminum collets for years. I started using a foam ear plug to protect the bullet tips right away. I saw the damage done to a lead tipped bullet the first time I pulled one and decided immediately that a foam rubber cushion would eliminate that problem.
As far as the "high primer" problem depicted in the sketch is concerned, that can be eliminated with a Dremel or drill and a round stone to chamfer the edge of the hole in the shell holder so there is no sharp edge to contact a high primer. (or just check for high primers and don't use the shell holder method on any you might find with high primers).

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
