    Default Phoenixville public library

    They have a metal detector, is it functional? Plenty of other metal on my body didn’t set it off.

    Don't know about the library but the Giant has some sort of alarm on the west entrance that goes crazy once in a while and employees start looking around for who set it off. I go in the east entrance and never set anything off.

    I'm in the Phoenixville library and the Phoenixville Giant all the time. Never saw a metal detector in either, and have never had an issue with concealed carry.

    I thought it might be that, but people are also walking in and out with books all the time, so I wasn't sure.
