Default So, is this what they mean by "Trickle Down"?

Lawsuit seeks to bar Rep. Scott Perry from 2024 ballot using 14th Amendment
    Matt Enright
    York Dispatch

A lawsuit filed Tuesday seeks to bar U.S. Rep Scott Perry from appearing on the 2024 ballot, citing the same law used to remove former President Donald Trump from ballots in Colorado and Maine.

Gene Stilp, a longtime political activist and former congressional candidate, filed the lawsuit in Commonwealth Court Tuesday.

"It's time that Scott Perry is subject to the restrictions of the 14th Amendment," Stilp said, in an interview Tuesday, "because he was supportive of insurrectionists who were trying to use fake electors to interfere with the certification of the Electoral College on Jan. 6 [2021]."

How about a deep red state court finding an obscure reason to remove Biden from their ballot?

    Section 3

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

Let's get our terms defined here...

    18 2383

"Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

The problem is, what is meant by "rebellion" or "insurrection"?

There were no firearms found on the persons of the people in the Capital. Where were their firearms, the means of waging this insurrection? Explosives? Nope. Swords? nope. Knives? Nope.

According to National Socialist Public radio, here were the "weapons" found...

"But a review of the federal charges against the alleged rioters shows that they did come armed, and with a variety of weapons: stun guns, pepper spray, baseball bats and flagpoles wielded as clubs."

    https://www.npr.org/2021/03/19/97787...-say-they-used

Someone did plant some bombs.... but not at the Capital. Big nothing burger as I see it.

There was no chain of command. How does one have a "rebellion" or "insurrection" without officers or Non-coms? The Democrats blamed Trump, even after he asked people to peaceably assemble.

Deaths? One protester, shot in the head by Capital police.

Just because some hysterical Congress people and Corporate prostitutes parrot words does not make them facts.

I view it more as monkeys whipping crap at the wall, to see what sticks.

The gun control lobby has been doing this kind of rubbish since the 1960s. Who hears the racist term "Saturday Night Special" these days?

Janet Reno tried to tell B'Nai Brith that she wanted to 'ban sniper' weapons... in order words target rifles. Nobody bit on it.

They tried "gun control", but that sounded too authoritarian. So now it's "Gun safety", which has a kind of Orwellian touch to it.

    14th does not apply,
because neither Trump nor any of the scapegoats arrested for Jan 6th, have been convicted of insurrection.
And they can't be, because non of them have even been charged with insurrection.
