Just as in 2020 & 2022, R turnout will be irrelevant as long as the Demonrats count the votes.

So he served 3 terms, & is leaving.

Isn't that what term limits would do?

I seriously do NOT believe it matters----the only explanation is ballot harvesting. Ds outnumber Rs in PA by 400,000----I'm sure "every Dem will magically" vote. 2023 should have been a landslide for the Rs---it wasn't and NO, abortion is not the reason.

"Off-years, or odd-numbered years, tend to be favorable for the party out of the White House, and 2023 looks to be no exception.

Since my last voter registration update in October 2022, Pennsylvania Republicans saw impressive gains all across the Commonwealth. Back then, the statewide Democratic margin was 549,288, a lead that*s since been whittled down to 445,890, constituting a shift of 103,398 towards the Pennsylvania GOP. "

Maybe.... quite a few of us are exhausted with Trump's Cult of Personality.

I believe that if he runs, and if he wins, that he is going to be hard on gun owners.

Ultimately I see him embracing the "sporting purpose" nonsense in order to "build consensus".

I think that the Dobbs decision got a lot of Democrats to go to the polls.

I loved Doug Mastriano. His views on Abortion were even more extreme than most.

I'm still trying to get my head around a Biblical basis of "life begins at conception". Trust me, I've probably spent more time than most on this issue.

A little grade school arithmetic goes a long way....

    8,873,144 registered voters.

    https://www.dos.pa.gov/VotingElectio...Statistics.pdf

    Fetterman 2,751,012
    Oz 2,487,260
    Gerhardt 72,887
    Wassmer 26,428
    Weiss 30,434
    Total 5,368,021

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/202...senate-results

    People who stayed home on Nov 8 2022 8,873,144 - 5,368,021 = 3,505,123

3,505,123 stayed home on election day.

There are 3,505,123 reasons why they did not come out to vote.

It's not about "ballot harvesting", "the swamp" or anything else.

My best guess is that Mehmet Oz was not a credible candidate for Pennsylvanians.

We had native son named Dave McCormick. For whatever reason, Trump picked Oz.

Oz had "some property" in PA. He lived in New Jersey. Oprah liked him, until she didn't like him. The NRA endorsed him, which was the only reason I pinched my nose and voted for him. I even sent Oz some campaign money.

    Primaries

    Oz 419,999
    McCormick 419,048
    Barnette 331,864
    Sands 73,316
    Bartos 66,619
    Gale 20,251
    Bochetto 14,480
    Total GOP 1,345,577

    Fetterman and Friends

    Fetterman 751,537
    Lamb 336,607
    Kenyatta 139,121

    Total Donkeys 1,281,505

Right off the bat something jumps out...

The GOPers had more voters than the Donkeys.

Fetterman had more votes than Oz.

    Dobbs didn't matter?

It was leaked by someone, still unknown, on Feb 10 2022. The formal decision, the one that was altered from the Feb 10 2022 decision, was published on June 24 2022

    Here are the changes...

    https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2022...ision-changes/

1,281,505 Democrats came out to the primary on May 17 2022

1,345,577 Republicans came out to the primary on May 17 2022

The Dobbs decision was formally announced on June 24 2022

Fetterman beat Carpetbagger Oz 2,751,012 to 2,487,260

3,505,123 voters stayed home on election day. Were their ballots stolen? Possibly but not likely.

I'm sixty two. I weathered the GOP steal of Ron Paul's candidacy, even Dr. Paul's right to give a meaningful speech.

I watched CNN, the Clinton News Network, make Rand Paul's candidacy disappear. They dropped his seven percentage votes in the GOP primary into a memory hole.

    I know about stolen elections.

I don't smell much of it here.
