Mag questions for a 338 win mag

Will a 338 wing mag feed ok through a 300 win mag magazine? Or will it feed better through a 338 Lapua mag magazine?

I am trying to see if stock and detatachable mag intened for one for the 338 LM, or the 300wm, will work with a 338 wm.

I know they are both long action savage's so that is ok, I just want to make sure the rounds will stay in the magazines, and will feed properly.

The .338 Win. Mag. will feed fine through a .300 Win, Mag. The hey have the same parent case. The .338 Lapua is a completely different cartride. It is too long to feed from a .300 Win. mag magazine.

Ok thank you. I am not trying to get a 338 LM, to feed through a 338 WM, magazine. I am trying to do the reverse.

Will a 338 winchester magnum. Stay in and feed properly in a magazine designed to hold and feed a 338LM??? If not, can i maybe bend in the feed lips, to have it hold the case in. These are single stack magazines.btw
