Who makes the best AR15 ?

I joined M4.com, and basically asked same question. Everyone tells me different, but basicaly what I got is unless its Colt 6920, and everything else is junk in oneway or other.

And you wanna know the sad part?

There are several automobile machine shops that will magnetic particle test a bolt almost for free.

It only costs $30 to have a whole V8 engine block done in some shops.....and $2 for a set of connecting rods these days......

The reason Colt MP's every bolt and every barrel is because it is a requirement of the government (military) contract. That's just one reason Colt's quality, and consequently their cost, is higher. It's more costly to test every bolt and every barrel and discard those that fail.

Funny thing is the ones that fail would still be better than some of the lesser manufacturers product.

About one of the only "reality" shows I'll watch is "how it's made" on discovery channel. They have tons of episodes showing different manufacturers using different quality control methods, but for the most part they all originate from the random sampling method.
